The Los Altos Hills Pathway System is a one-of-a-kind community amenity that provides residents the opportunity to soak up nature. Whether you’re traversing this on foot, on bicycle, or on horse, the Pathway System is a fantastic way to travel or simply get outdoors. Immerse yourself in nature. Because of Los Altos Hills’ stunning scenery, it is home to a vibrant local ecosystem. Your hikes might include sightings of rabbits, coyotes, and hawks. For over twenty years, the town has hosted the Los Altos Hills Pathways Run/Walk, which invites community members to tackle a challenging trail run together.
Throughout the community, there are numerous open space preserves, including the expansive Byrne Preserve, that honor and protect the community’s breathtaking scenery. In the summertime, Purissima Park hosts baseball and softball games, and you can gather — or participate in! — the annual Fourth of July Parade.
